At the lake of rage! Use surf near the first guy you see by the water and red gyarados should be swimming around. you need a ultra or great ball to catch it. It will be a level 30 so you need to get the hp very low before you throw the ball. Bring your first Pokemon with you. It should be level 40.
In Pokemon Gold/Silver, the red Gyarados is know as a "shiny" Pokemon. This means that is is an extremely rare color differentiation of the Pokemon, except for on Gold/Silver, where you get one in the Lake of Rage. So, in Ruby, you must keep fighting Gyarados in the wild until you get a "shiny" one; the red one.
You can't get it in Pokemon diamond you can get it in soul silver or heart gold though and its a red shiney gyrados in the lake of rage.
there are over 100 in spring path i know because i have over 3 PC boxes filled with them
A red gyarados is a shiny gyarados (however, the Pokemon Company did not call them shiny untill the Unova Region). You can find it wherever you can find a normal gyarados, but your chances to find it are very slim.
i think its well picutue lake
Not a pond as much as a lake. Lake of Rage.
There is no official way to find a red gyarados. It is a shiny pokemon, and the possibility of finding one is 1/8192. That is why they are so valuable in trades, as they are rare and discolored.
Easy! Just trade the red gyarados from soulsilver to diamond.
Yes, as are all shiny pokemon. However, there's is a very small chance you will find one.
I think it is on the lake near the legendar pokemon. I not that sure.
you cant
The Red Gyarados is a standard pokémon you'll encounter in HeartGold/SoulSilver, but not in Diamond. In Diamond it's a 'normal' shiny pokémon, which means that you need to be very lucky to catch one. You can find Gyarados at many places in Diamond, but the chance of getting a shiny pokémon is 0.0122%.
only 2 red gyarados and palkia
use pokeradar on a body of water that has lots of gyrados
