There is no distributor on the 2001 Echo, as it is electronic ignition. The spark plug wires and boots are under the piece of black plastic on top of the engine. Just remove the screws that hold it down and take the black plastic off and everything is there
search for echo manual torrent
Go to autozone.com..Repair instructions.Look for serpentine belt.May be a routing image there.
One can find great deals on a used Toyota Echo on Evionet. They have many high quality used vehicles available for purchase, and even have a great support forum.
Hopefully a chiltons or haynes manual should have it, if not try this link, they charge for info, but if all else fails... http://www.alldatadiy.com/
When the fule light comes on, you have about 2 gallons of gas left (about 60 miles). I ran out of gas one time, and now my light comes on when I have one gallon left, so I have to refuel right away. Also, you can find a manuel from any Toyota Dealer.
Most likely one of the speakers has a loose wire that is contacting some metal in the car, check each speaker and I'm sure you'll find the problem.
it dont have to, change your brake shoes/pads every 30000 miles or whatever
i have a 2001 Toyota Tacoma truck and had an accident and know my truck wont start and i don't have a manual, can you tell me were i can find the cut off switch , thanks.
I'm trying to find the same answer for my 2003 Echo. Those wires are part of the interior lighting system. I have been told to disconnect them and tape them off but that leaves me with no dash lights. When I find the solution, I'll be back in touch.
You can buy a new, book (paper) version directly from the Toyota website, but they are expensive. I don't know why they don't sell cheap electronic versions (are they really focused on profits from repair manuals??). I bought my repair manual used on eBay for a big discount over new so do some searching. Finally, its totally unauthorized, but if you really search, you can find an electroinc (PDF) version of the echo/yaris repair manual floating around for free on the internet. I believe its technically the 1998 Yaris manual, but its pretty much identical to the 2000-2002 Echo manual although its missing some portions of the real manual.
There should be a diagram under the hood somewhere. Normally on the fan shroud. Click the link for a diagram. If you do not see one search with the term "2001 Toyota Rav 4 belt diagram" and you will find a diagram.
clap and listen for the echo an echo is just a reverberation of sound bouncing off something solid about 17 meters away and returning will produce an echo. You can't litterally find an echo just clap and listen for one.
