You should find a lot of Ponyta and Vulpix, if you're playing Pokemon Blue, but if you're playing Pokemon Red, you'll more than likely find Ponyta and probably Growlithe. I'm not sure if you can find Vulpix in Pokemon Red or not. But, that's where you will find a lot of GOOD fire Pokemon. And, of course, Moltres is hidden away in Victory Road.
