To replace the glass on a Mercedes C230 side view mirror, start by carefully prying off the mirror glass from the backing using a flat tool, being cautious not to damage the heating elements or backing plate. Once removed, clean the area and ensure the new mirror glass matches the original. Apply adhesive or clips as needed, and press the new glass into place firmly. Finally, test the mirror adjustment to ensure proper alignment.

Glass and Holder??? Glass...Yes you can buy JUST the glass see www.burncoinc.com (I believe you need part# 3189 or 3515) they will not sell too you direct but find a glass shop that sells these. DO NOT goto a glass shop and have them 'CUT' you a mirror for this!!!! a side view mirror has to be auto mirror (FMVSS 101) it can not be house hold mirror. Holder...as for any parts that are broken inside the mirror head assembly, the entire mirror head has to be replaced. you can buy this at a dealership (very $$) or an after market supplier like www.Directauto.com ($$ not so bad) or an autowreckers (cheapest option) hope this helps Glass and Holder???
