I hope Im not getting my stones mixed up...
Anyway there are 2 shiny stones in Pokemon platinum (unless you use other means to obtain them e.g underground) The one can be found in Route 210. You need to use the Dowzing Machine Poketch app and rock climb to get it.
The other is found after you beat the two Galactic goons by Iron Island. Just keep walking with the path and you'll find it!
