Where do you get pins on Club Penguin?

you walk as close as you can to it and you will get a sign in a blue box

that says "You have found xxx pin. Would you like to pick it up?"

And under it will be yes and no buttons. Hit yes to pick it up. If you already have it, a message will appear in an orange box
