it's rock climb, not rock scale. on route 217, there is a house. the man inside says he lost a HM. it's rock climb. after talking to the man, go back outside. then go up you'll see a pokeball- that's the HM. remember to talk to the man and he'll let u keep it. plus, he give u the icicle plate.
its inside pastroia city.
After you get the HM Rock Climb, and a Pokemon knows it, you can approach a rocky wall, press A, and you will scale the wall.
Well its very very rare but its in rocks that can be smashed with rock smash. Or you can use your diamond or pearl game and trade a Pokemon over holding it.
This is the only thing i know, in Pokemon pearl and platinum go to snow point city and get ready for your 7th gym badge and then get through the maze and then challenge the gym leader and then after you win you get the move scale (AKA: rock climb) hope this helped!
Underground
There is no such thing as a rock scale.
Of course!
You'll need to teach a Pokemon the HM Rock Slide, which is located on Route 217, and then press A on the rocky wall and the Pokemon will slide up or downwards of it.
In the game Pokemon Pearl, the HM move Rock Smash is required in order to break the boulders in Mt Coronet. To fully explore the mountain, a players needs Pokemon that know Rock Smash, Strength, Rock Climb, Defog, Surf, and Waterfall.
Rock Climb is not a move in the game. It wasn't a move until Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, which came out after FireRed.
To scale rocks in the Pokemon games, the player must first teach their Pokemon the move Rock Climb. This is done through a HM in the game, where depending on version, can be obtained through in-game events.
To see politoed on D/P you have to migrate it from a GBA Pokemon game or Trade a poliwhirl holding a kings rock.
