Where do you get the fossil in diamond?

First use ur explorer kit in any area outdoors. u can get the EK by going to the house in Eterna City and talking to the old guy. When you go underground you see little sparkles on te top screen, follow those until u get to them, then tap the screen if you see sparkles on the wall you can dig there and find treasure, which could be fossils. You can take fossils to the Mining Museum in Oreburgh City and talk to the guy at the counter and make the fossil into an ancient Pokemon for you. The fossils are these:

Armor Fossil will turn into Shieldon in Pearl Version.

Claw Fossil will turn into Anorith.*

Dome Fossil will turn into Kabuto.*

Helix Fossil will turn into Omanyte.*

Old Amber will turn into Aerodactyl.*

Skull Fossil will turn into Cranidos in Diamond Version.

Root Fossil will turn into Lileep.*

*Fossils with an asterix mean you can only find those after you get the National Dex.
