To build the gondola base you need the plans, which Emily gives to you when she notices that is is missing. You then have to take the plans to Torajiro, whose house is in the Mangrove Forest. He then tells you to back over to the Gondola Base and then he builds it!

You need to build it, and this is how you do it. First, go to the carpenter on the other side of the river, give him the box that spits out steel and wood, then your sim will tell him that the gondola is gone, and he'll let you browse through the buildings he will build for you. You need to find the building that says Basic Gondola Base. In order to get the building plans, you'll need some essences from your essence gun (certain ones). After all of this, then go back across the river and talk to Dr. F. He and the carpenter will help you build the gondola. You're welcome! :)
On mysims kingdom how do you get across the godonle?
First, make sure you have talked to Emily, who at first is in the area on the other side of the river. She then goes to the gondola base which is in the top-right corner of the area where Sharon's store is. The gondola base has been taken by the criminal so you then have to get Dr F and Torajiro to build you a new one. After that you just have to talk to Emily and you can then get to the Snow Field where her sister Amy is! Good luck!!! :)

I think there are castles in MySims Kingdom, but I don't think that there are castles in MySims, normal. You could probably build a castle-type house though, by using a few round blocks on the corners for towers, and painting it in stone.

sadly, no its not. but if you buy MySims for the PC, you can play up to 10 people at once, build creations, share them, even TRADE them with others! Actually, it is. But the games are not worth playing.
What are some games like mysims?
There are a bunch of other MySims games: MySims Racing, MySims Party, MySims Agents, MySims Skyheroes, MySims Kingdom... but none of them involve the building that you see in MySims, as far as I know. There is also The Sims, but that is rated T for some risque stuff in that and I have never played it. It is for adults and teenagers more than kids. But it does have the building and character personalizing of MySims, only it's more in-depth. I've also seen SimCity, which is similar in that you can design your own buildings (in Building Architect) and decide what goes where, but it's less about the people of the city, and more about how you actually run the city. (You're the mayor, you set taxes and build power plants and zone land.)

How do you get the gondola in my sims kingdom DS?
Once you've fixed Richard's compass, he'll let you cross the river. Upon arrival, to your left is a girl in a pink "winter outfit." She's Emily, and she mans the gondola that will take you up the mountain. She'll tell you to talk to her later at the gondola base. When you get there, in the very uppermost corner on the right hand side of the screen, she'll tell you the gondola base has disappeared along with the rest of the town. She'll give you blueprints to give to Torajiro (the carpenter on the other side of the river--walk as far left as you possibly can in the bottom corner) and tell you to speak to him and doctor F. Dr. F must be seen first, seeing as if you talk to Torajiro he will talk to you about "no lumber and steel" over and over (Dr.F will once again provide) and then give the Synth-O-Tron Mark II (the machine) to Torajiro. Talk to them once more, and get the needed essences (just for the base, you don't need the "molecule" essence) for the base. Then, talk to Emily again and the top of the mountain is once again accessible at your leisure.
