Turning On the Power Plant

first, you need to visit the plant, which is just to the right of cerulean city ( when you hit water, take it and surf down). on the way out of the plant, a man will tell you a suspicious man has been hanging around cerulean. fly there and go into the gym, where you'll run into a team rocket member. follow him to nugget bridge and talk to him. he'll challenge you to a battle, betting the machine part. win, take it back to the power plant, and talk to the owner.

You have to get the power plant's new generator running. Go to the power plant (north of Rock Cave) and talk to the owner. When exiting, one of the guys will ask you to look for a suspicious person in Ceruelean. Fly there and go inside the gym. Someone will run into you and say some guilty-sounding stuff. Go into the middle square of water when he leaves and check all the squares until you find the machine part. Then give it back to the power plant owner and fly to lavender. Talk to the radio station's director and he'll thank you and give you the exp. card.
