Yes
you don't need a national pokedex to trade from ruby to leaf green. You have to get the gems the sapphire and the ruby in order to trade from leaf green to ruby. These are found in leaf green. (:
catch all Pokemon
The original Pokedex is given to the player by Professor Birch. After the Pokemon Ruby trades with LeafGreen or FireRed the National Pokedex will be unlocked.
You complete your sinnoh pokedex, then go to your hometown and get the national 'dex then go to pal park and migrate pokémon from ruby, sapphire, leafgreen or firered.
the kanto pokedex YES national not sure but i think you have to trade from ruby or sapphire or something
Unfortunantely, it's impossible to catch ANY Pokemon from the National PokeDex in Ruby and Sapphire. You have to trade with FireRed, LeafGreen, Emerald, Colosseum, or XD to get Pokemon from the National PokeDex. If you trade with the first three games, you'll actually get the National PokeDex in Ruby and Sapphire.
go to Google and search Pokemon sapphire pokedex and it will give you a list of all the ones you can catch, you can also search for a national pokedex and look for treeko and that is the beginning of the sapphire/ruby/emerald pokedex(heres a link of the best one ive found sofar ... http://Lloyd.truepath.com/Jonathan/PKMNRS_Pokemon.htm ... ) go to Google and search Pokemon sapphire pokedex and it will give you a list of all the ones you can catch, you can also search for a national pokedex and look for treeko and that is the beginning of the sapphire/ruby/emerald pokedex
