The brake fluid reservoir is on top of the master cylinder. That's mounted to the engine side of the firewall directly in front of where the driver sits. Before removing the cap, clean the area around it thoroughly to prevent any dirt from getting into the opening. Text on the lid (and in your owner's manual) will tell you what type of brake fluid to use. Someplace on the reservoir you'll find marks indicating low and high levels for the fluid. Don't fill above the top level.
If your existing brake fluid is anything but clear, it's contaminated (normal after a couple of years) and needs to be changed. That's a little more complicated with anti-lock brakes than 'back in the day' before braking systems got complicated. Just opening the nipple at each wheel while someone else pumps the brake pedal doesn't work anymore. If you don't have the proper equipment it's best to head for a brake repair or other shop where the work can be done properly.
