You add the dydraulic fluid near the loader control levers, their should be a breather cover there, the one we have has two different sized "nuts" that need to be removed, the lower nut has a dipstick attached. After you take both pieces off you pour the fluid in there. Hope this helps.

On top of the differential there is a removable 3/4 " cap on either side of the seat. Hydraulic fluid can be put into either.
Should hold about 7 gallons.
In the front part of the hood, there should be a metal flapper that you can lift up. There will be a cap below it, that is where you add hydraulic fluid.
Right side of engine right past the cab if it has one.
In the half valve kanooter barring. Unless it is a four barring year 2000-2011, you can put it through the top of the piston.
Go to your John Deere dealer and pay big bucks for their hydrostatic fluid or go almost anywhere else and buy a good quality hydraulic fluid.
