On my car I followed the aluminum pressure hose (the thicker one) from the passenger side firewall until i reached the nozzle cap.
If the refill nozzle doesn't fit ask a pro.
on the large ref line (suction line)
Freon may need to be added when the ac is not blowing cold enough. A Freon gauge can tell you for sure if the pressure is low.
The Freon is added through the low side ac port. Using the proper type of Freon and a gauge, fill the system to the recommended pressure.
The ac is recharged through the low side ac port. Using the right type of Freon and the proper gauge for that type of Freon, connect the Freon to the port and fill to the proper gauge reading. Check the can for exact refill directions.
Use a freon gauge and freon refill can. Connect the gauge to the low pressure ac port of the 2003 Stratus. With the engine running and ac on high, fill the system until the gauge shows full.
buy an a/c refill kit (freon and a filler hose) at auto parts store. follow directions on can. if you can read, you can do it.
Personal posession of freon is illegal in the US. Unfortunately, you are required to take it to a shop.
Can anyone tell us where the lines are to refill the freon in a navigator
A Freon system on a 1993 Honda Accord uses a valve on the A/C hardline where a user can connect a A/C refill can. Following directions on the refill bottle will show how much Freon is needed to pressurize the system.
Buy a kit at Wal-Mart or auto parts comes with instructions
Remove the freon from the system. Remove the ac compressor belt and disconnect the lines. Unbolt the compressor, remove it, then bolt the new one in place. Reconnect the lines and belt. Pull a vacuum on the system then refill with freon.
Remove the freon from the system with a reclaiming machine. With the system empty, disconnect the lines from the condenser and bolt in the new one. use new o rings as well. Pull an entire system vacuum, then refill the AC unit with freon.
