Click on my profile, go to my account and click on my karma and it will tell you how many you have and if it's neutral or positive.

Which points are you referring to? You can gain karma points (see profile >> my account >> my karma) if that is what you mean. Also, your horse can gain skill points through riding, training, competing, and doing lessons. And you can gain ranking points through improving all those aspects listed on the ranking pages.
