You need to familiarize yourself with a bears vitals and skeleton. Place your shot through the heart/lung area. Preferably a broadside shot. Take a kill shot first, i.e. the heart/lung area. Then follow up with a shoulder shot to immobilize the bear which can still possibly go full board with its heart shot out for up to sixty seconds. I strongly recommend as much self education in this as possible to be prepared.
he thought that since the bear didn't kill him, why should he kill the bear?
no
No.
If brown bears and koalas lived on the same continent, it is entirely possible that a brown bear could kill a koala. However, given that their respective continents are half a world apart, a brown bear would not kill a koala.
Shoot it, but it is now illegal to kill a polar bear, because they are declining due to global warming and killer whales.
Yes. Polar bears are bigger, more beastly, and stronger than brown bears.
Yes, and they do prey on moose sometimes.
A man is only able to kill a bear if he has a sharp hunting knife with him, or if he is able to shoot the bear from a distance. Even so, a bear is a force to be reckoned with, no matter what tools a man has in his defense.Definitely. A man can kill a bear with a gun if he is shooting from a far away distance, or if he has a sharp enough knife and can dodge the bear's attacks.
Yes, if the kodiak bear avoided the moose's hooves and antlers (if it is a bull moose). Even a grizzly bear or an alaskan brown bear could kill a bull moose, but not when it is on the rut.
A large brown bear, a poacher, a pack of wolves, and a polar bear etc.
The brown bear because it would stand up and claw the three lions to death by swiping them with its paws.
A tiger, as they are bigger and they can take down a brown bear, whilst a lion is smaller and can't kill a brown bear.
