∙ 12y agoThe Shahadah can take place in the mosque but it is not necessary. I annonced the Shahadah Alone in my bedroom because I feel that Shahadah is between ones self and God alone.
Once I said my Shahadah I then started annoncing to people in my life what I had accomplished. Islam is the true religion and I feel blessed that I have the privliage of being of the Musslims.

You perform the Shahada in any mosque in front of the mosque Muslim leader. If no near mosque available you can perform the Shahada in front of any Muslims group in any place with one of them telling you what to say.
