Can the pope visit Saudi Arabia?

It would be highly unlikely that a pope would/could visit Saudi Arabia. Islam is the state religion and other faiths are forbidden by law from holding public worship. Even private worship is very difficult and subjects tha participants to possible arrest and prosecution. It would take a major reversal of policy on the part of the Saudi government for such a papal visit to take place.
