Hawaii's climate at lower altitudes is tropical. With increasing elevation it becomes subtropical.
Alaska is farther away from the equator than Hawaii. Hawaii, therefore, has a warmer climate because it has more direct sunlight.
Hawaii has a tropical climate and it rains sometimes.
Both Hawaii and Ohio have warm/hot summers!
Its because Hawaii is closer to the semisphere that Austrailia. Hawaii is actually right on the semisphere. P.S. I forgot what semisphere is called so I may have spelled it wrong but Im sure its close.
