The Onyx River is a meltwater stream in Antarctic that flows westward during a few months of the Antarctic summer. It is the largest river in Antarctica, and at 25 miles (40 km) in length, it is also the longest.
It starts at the Lake Brownworth and flows away from the ocean (because it is blocked by the Wright Lower Glacier) to Lake Vanda.
