The only way I could possibly think you would find a buried trophy is if one of your WiFi friends is messing with you.. the stars on the ground (where you dig up fossils and such) shouldn't have a trophy buried there. Trophies are only won from Fishing and Bug Competitions, and can't be dug up randomly, unless someone put it there. Or you hacked it.
