To make a rubber band-powered engine, you'll need a few simple materials like a rubber band, a lightweight body (like a wooden stick or cardboard), and a propeller or axle. First, attach one end of the rubber band to the body and the other end to the propeller or axle. Then, twist the propeller to store energy in the rubber band. When released, the stored energy will turn the propeller, propelling the engine forward.

To build a rubber band propelled car, you will need a chassis (can be made of wood or lightweight plastic), wheels, rubber bands, a propeller (can be made of a straw or a wooden dowel), and something to wind up the rubber band like an axle. Attach the wheels to the chassis, wind up the rubber band around the axle, and attach the propeller. When you release the rubber band, it will unwind and propel the car forward.
Engine and transmission mounts are made of a heavy rubber and are usually black in color. On either side of the rubber is a way to attach it, one side to the motor or transmission and the other to a part of the cars frame. They allow the engine and transmission to vibrate without causing the whole car to shake. A front engine mount would be on a car with frontwheel drive ( sideways facing motor ) attaching it to the front of the frame in the engine compartment.
For the rear spoiler on a 2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue, you typically need rubber washers or grommets to create a seal and prevent water intrusion. Additionally, flat washers may be used with the mounting bolts to distribute the load evenly. It's best to check the specific installation manual or consult with an auto parts store for exact specifications and part numbers to ensure compatibility.
To make a slingshot, you will need a Y-shaped stick, rubber bands, and a pouch made of fabric or leather. Attach the rubber bands to the forked ends of the stick and tie them securely.
