Which activity would be best keep the worlds oxygen supply from decreasing?

Planting new tree saplings in the forest to replace trees that have been harmed can help the creation of oxygen.

Where does blood get a new suppy of oxygen?

From the lungs. In the lungs of animals, humans included, there is an interchange of oxygen for carbon dioxide. So we inhale oxygen(air) and exhale carbon dioxide.

How do you explain how oxygen gets into your blood?

We should first start at the beginning. As you know, you breathe oxygen in when you contract your diaphragm and air fills your lungs. The walls of your lungs are filled with capillaries (tiny blood vessels) that look kind of like feathers. If you were to stretch out the entire surface area of the capillaries in your lungs, it would be about equal to the size of a tennis court! So, in the capillaries flows your de-oxygenated blood. It has been on a complete cycle through your body, and is now low on O2. When the erythrocytes (red blood cells) enter the capillaries, the oxygen gets chemically stuck to them. It attaches to a large protein called hemoglobin, a 4 piece protein with a single iron atom at the center. (this explains why an iron deficiency can lead to anemia, or a low red blood cell count) Each red blood cell contains as many, many hemoglobin molecules. The oxygen is at a HIGH concentration in your lungs, and so flows into the LOW concentration in the blood. As the laws of nature would predict, as the red blood cells move into areas of lower oxygen concentration, the oxygen leaves the hemoglobin and enters its new tissue.

Do bees make oxygen?

They pollinate plants, and this is necessary to create new plants. The new plants create oxygen, so I would say yes. But, to be fair, they do it indirectly.

What is the new material formed in moisture and oxygen combine with steel wool?

How does cardiovascular and respiratory system work together to supply body with oxgyen?

The heart pumps your blood (cardio), into your lungs (respitory), to give them oxygen. Then it makes itsway around the body to supply oxygen to where it is needed. Then then new blood, without oxygen, goes on the exact same path.

Can red blood cells repair damaged tissues?

No, the most they can do is supply oxygen to the new cells being created at the site of injury

What is a Free flap?

A section of tissue detached from its blood supply, moved to another part of the body, and reattached by microsurgery to a new blood supply

Where does an artery carry oxygen poor blood?

The pulmonary artery carries oxygen poor blood and the pulmonary vein carries oxygen rich blood.

The heart has _____ chambers.?

Yes, the right atrium which receives oxygen poor blood from the body, channels it into the right ventricle which pumps that blood to the lungs to unload its carbon dioxide and pick up a fresh new supply of oxygen. That freshly oxygenated blood from the lungs returns to our left atrium which channels it into the left ventricle which in turn pumps it out to the rest of the body. And the cycle begins anew.

Is your body always making new blood?

Yes, there is not an infinite supply of blood in your body. It's just the same blood being recycled by your heart. When your blood goes around your body, it's deprived of oxygen, so your heart kind of "freshens" the blood cells when they return to the heart. That's why people sometimes die from loss of blood.

Which surgical procedure is done to provide the myocardium with a new source of blood supply when a coronary artery is occluded?

Coronary artery bypass graft is the procedure done to provide the myocardium with a new source of blood supply when a coronary artery is occluded.

Where does blood get new oxygen?

In the lungs. The blood is pumped from the right side of the heart to the lungs. Air moves into the trachea, the bronchi and finally to the alveoli. From the alveoli oxygen diffuses into the microcapilaries (small blood vessels) of the lungs.

Why does the respiratory system need Cardiovascular system?

In simple terms, the respiratory system and the circulatory system rely on each other. The lungs bring the oxygen to the blood supply and the blood supply then sends the oxygen throughout the body to all the vital organs and tissues. The blood supply also picks up the leftover blood that has used up all its oxygen and brings it back to the lungs to start the process over again.

What twin developments helped increase food supply in the old stoneage and the new stoneage?

the constant movement of the people helped them increase their food supply because they kept using up all of the food in that one place then they would move and use all of the other places food supply. that way they kept being able to maintain a good food supply

Servicing the capillaries is the basic function of the organs of the circulatory system Explain this statement?

The capillaries are where the actual transfer of oxygen to the cells happen making it the absolute essential part of the system. The lungs/gills/skin whole job is to get oxygen into the bloodstream so that the capillaries have oxygen to transfer to the cells. The hearts whole job is to supply enough pressure to circulate the blood past the capillaries so it constantly has new oxygenated blood to transfer oxygen to the cells. --Ryan F
