Most people when they say "air filter" are referring to the engine air filter. Cabin air filter cleans the air that comes into the car, goes through the heater core or air conditioner and then out through the vents into the cabin of the car.
I don't think the 98 Nav has one! my has the whole were the filter goes, but is blank off the is nothing in it.

open glove box....remove the door by pressing in on both sides....you will see where the filter goes...there are 3 snaps on the black piece that open up to allow removal of old filter....new filter must be installed by tilting it.

There are two. when you buy them they come in a qty of two as well. One goes in and then you slide it over. Then you put the next filter in.
check the production date some kia sorento I was told by the dealer's parts department that were made did not have cabin filters . It goes by the last eight numbers of your vin. number . So depending for that 2006 year what month it was made will give you the info. Just call the dealer's part department and ask. I was told by the dealer service that I needed replaced an air filter and cabin filter , so I checked by calling the parts department there and got my answer.
the fuel filter is attached to the fuel pump in the gas tank. those generally get replaced when the fuel pump goes out.
Most engines take 4 qts, 4.5 qt with filter.

No, the 2009 Challenger does not have a cabin air filter. But, the cavity where it goes is present like it is in the Charger & 300. It is just an empty cavity. However, you can buy the same Mopar kit used in those cars fits in the Challenger. It takes about an hour to install. You don't actually need the entire cavity from the kit, but just the insert part that holds the micron air filter.
Mine is under the dash where the heater core is mounted. There should be a small access door there that can be unsnapped and then you can remove the filter. Hope this helps.
