The gospels do not actually say how long the mission of Jesus lasted. However, scholars point out that the events described in the synoptic gospels (Matthew, Mark and Luke) could have been accomplished in a few weeks. There is no mention of the Passover from the beginning of his mission until the final journey to Jerusalem and for these reasons they believe that his entire mission, at least in the synoptic gospels, appears to have taken no more than a year.

On the other hand, John's Gospel, by its references to the Passover (John 2:13, 6:4, 11:55, 12:1, 13:1), indicates that, for its author, the mission of Jesus lasted three years.

It doesn't. Many scholars today say Jesus' ministry lasted 3.5 years or 4 Passovers (last He was crucified on as Sir Isaac newton believed through his calculations) from circa September- October 26-27 AD to April 30-31 AD.

It is a calculation using Luke 3 for the time of the Roman Tiberius Caesar to the number of Passovers (Sir Isaac Newton believed He died on the 4th Passover) in John 2 and 6, excluding mention of 1 many scholars believe happened during Jesus' extensive travel time. And finally the time of 40 days from His resurrection to His ascension. All in all then, from His baptism to His ascension, the late summer of 26 or early 27 AD, to the spring of 30 or 31 AD, we have approximately 3½ years.

This account of Jesus’ life on earth covers the period 29-33 C.E., and it is careful to make mention of the four Passovers that Jesus attended during his ministry, thus providing one of the lines of proof that his ministry was three and a half years in duration. Three of these Passovers are mentioned as such. (2:13; 6:4; 12:1; 13:1) One of them is referred to as “a festival of the Jews,” but the context places it shortly after Jesus said there were “yet four months before the harvest,” thus indicating the festival to be the Passover, which took place about the beginning of the harvest.—4:35; 5:1.*

What exact date in ancient calendar was Jesus baptised by John the Baptist?

No one is sure as the Bible just doesn't say. But if we agree with some scholars that Jesus died in April 31 AD and His ministry was 3 1/2 years long or 4 Passovers - the last He died on, then He began His ministry at about 30 years of age. This would make it circa 27-28 AD.

Where in the Bible does it say how old Jesus was when he was crucified?

The only indirect indication in the Bible of how old Jesus was is in John 8:57, "Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?"A:There is a verse in Luke 3:23 "And Jesus himself, when he began to teach, was about thirty years of age, being the son (as was supposed) of Joseph, the son of Heli" That refers to the beginning of Jesus' public ministry, that from the gospel accounts seem to have lasted 3 years, which means Jesus was about thirty three years old at the time of his crucifixion, give or take a few years.

30 years old.
