Pears come from trees, which you plant with a pear seed. you eat the pear, then plant the seed, then you wait 'till the tree grows up and then you eat the Pears from the tree. It's a circle of life. :) hope i helped!!!

answer 2 Actually, with the pip fruit such as apples and pears, the chance of replicating the parent tree is not good. The seeds do not produce true to form.

Much better is to obtain a grafted tree from a reputable nursery.
