One place in the Bible that refers to strong marriage's is at Ecclesiastes 4:9-12. Here the Bible says in verse 12 that a "three-fold cord cannot quickly be torn in two." This refers to God being in a marriage. This type of marriage would be especially strong.

First of all you do not have to invite anyone you do not want too. Especially someone who will object. However, talk to your officiant most wedding ceremonies today do not include the phrase "if anyone can show just cause why this marriage should not take place..." That was taken out of most ceremonies years ago.
