People speak danish in Denmark, but Danish used to be the language of Greenland, but considering their step towards independence, and adoption of Greenlandic, they're now speaking what I consider a different form Danish.Otherwise Danish is a pretty rare language, but is similar to other Scandinavian languages such as finnish and norwegian.
