flying fish live in warm oceons such as the pasffic oceon. They are one of the fastest fish as they build up speed underwater and then dive out of the water and spread their 'wings' and fly for large distances. They do this to escape from predotory fish and they also live in shoals (a group of fish). Flying fish can be spotted easily and don't normally go down further than a few meters away from the waters surface. Lots of other fish and sharks kill then so flying fish are a well known fish!!!
