On the side of the trany. It will have a vacumm hose going to it
very dificult to explain, i can email you the specs.
remove top water hose remove four screws frist remove belt from tension spring then need special wrench to turn and pull water pump out
it is just what it says, overflow, just a piece of hose about two feet long, if you grasp it and pull, it will come straight up, just finised working on mine. hope this helps, mark
Most usually at the front of the engine, on top and can recognize it by the connecting water hose, usually larger.
Look for two brass hose fittings within8 inches of each other on the firewall passanger side.
It is NOT on the upper radiator hose, it is where the lower hose connects next to the air filter housing. You do not need to disconnect the hose, there are two 10mm bolts that come off and the thermostat is inside this housing.
Lower right of the rad. sometimes it is easier to drain the rad by removing the lower rad hose.
The hose that goes from the overflow to the bottom of the radiator on a 2002 Windstar is the bypass hose. It allows coolant from the overflow to return to the radiator as it cools.
Hope this will help, I replaced mine,88 eldorado, and found it at left end of the top hose, attached by (2)Two bolts. Facing engine,top radiator-hose,follow to the left with point of contact on engine top,secured by with two bolts. Good Luck
if its at the front, radiator or hose, if its closer to the tire could be overflow tank or cap.
There are two hoses going to the heater core. Passenger side of the firewall in the engine compartment. Two 3/4 inch hoses about 3 inches apart.
