Where does the president sleep?
Asked in US Presidents, Barack Obama, White House
Where does the President and his family sleep?
They all sleep on the second floor of the White House, which is set aside for sleeping quarters and guest rooms for the president and his family. President Obama and Michelle sleep in the master bedroom there; and their two daughters each have a bedroom on that floor. Michelle's mom (Malia and Sasha's grandmother) has a bedroom on the second floor too.

Does Mr and Mrs Obama sleep in the same bed?
Absolutely, but only when they are in the same city. Part of being the president is traveling on official business, so they sometimes are apart as a result. But when the president is home, he and Michelle do in fact sleep in the same bed (Michelle has made jokes about the fact that the president snores). Internet rumors of impending divorce or other problems in their marriage are false.

Asked in Health, Barack Obama
How much sleep does the president get?
4 hours on avg. 6 hours is a good nights sleep. People should get a minimum of 8 hours of sleep. Sleep is beneficial to our bodies in so many ways. 6 hours is not nearly enough at any age. This is not my opinion but by studies done on sleep deprivation and what is the best amount of sleep everyone should get. Regarding how much Obama gets, I don't know but by the decisions he makes, I'd say he runs on 2 hours a day!

Who went to sleep before his term started and woke up when his term was over?
David Rice Atchison. Senator Atchison did serve as President and did sleep through his term. James K. Polk's term expired on Saturday March 3, 1849. The President-elect, Zachary Taylor did not want to be inaugurated on a Sunday, he preferred Monday, March 5. So the next person in line, since our country can not be without a president, was Atchison.
