It goes to the cluster to indicate oil pressure and give u a light signal wen ever oil pressure is less or oil level is low
It's located right above the oil filter. It has two wires coming out of it with a black boot around it. Remove the oil filter to get to it easier.
They are usually a small device that screws into the block of the engine somewhere near the oil filter. There is usually one or two wires. Disconnect the wires, unscrew the old switch, screw in the new switch, attach the wires and you're done.
Right next to the oil filter on the pass side. Little black thing, two or three wires connected to it.. be carefull when changing filters, these are VERY easy to break.. but it should be right beside the oil filter
No , the engine air filter and the engine oil filter are two different items
it should be next to your oil filter My Two Cents: The sending unit IS near the oil filter. It has two wires going to it and screws into the block. It's made mainly of plastic and if broken can allow oil under pressure to spew out and give you thoughts of a blown rear main seal due to the amount of oil all over the underside. Its very inexpensive to replace fortunately. Good luck. Momule
It should be located bisde the air filter with two wires connected to it>
it is on the drivers side of the block and has two aluminum and rubber lines that connect to the oil filter relocator.
to get the oil filter out you need to remove the black cover in front of the cross member by the two wing bolts and then pull the oil filter through there.
check to see if the previous filter gasket was left behind when you did the last oil change. When two of the rubber gaskets are present, you get a pretty good leak and you can't see it til you remove the filter and check.
on top of the engine there is to caps its the larger of the two the smaller one is the secondary fuel filter. Remove the cap the oil filter is inside.
No, the oil pump will fill it up in a second or two when you start the engine. But if the filter is mounted vertically is sure will not hurt to fill it up before you install it. Know that you must apply a thin layer of oil to the filter gasket before installing it.
The starter should be tight! It can cause an oil leak if it hits the oil filter and makes a hole in it (oil filter is like a coke can). If your starter is moving you must first tighten it down it's two bolts.
