Water cycle as the name tells, is a continuous flow of water. It is a method inwhich our earth recycles the water thus maintaining the same amount of water now as the when earth was created. It does not have a beginning nor an end. However, when we explain the steps of the water cycle, also called as hydrologic cycle, we start with the water being evaporated from lakes, streams, dams, rivers, oceans etc or simply the process of evaporation from the surface water and ground water (the water from the ground). We end the one cycle with water being flowed back as surface and ground water. Eventually, the cycle again begins.

The water cycle really doesn't have a beginning, it just goes around in an endless loop, hence the name 'Water Cycle'.Everything is interdependant on the other.

It runs something like this;

The heat of the Sun evaporates the Sea and rivers, or maybe ground water, and it travels as water vapours up into the atmosphere until it cools down and forms as a cloud. The cloud is blown around by the wind, and eventually rains.

The most stereotypical example of the Water Cycle, has that it rains on a mountain, goes into the mountain streams and then gets transported into either a river or the sea, most of the time a river flowing into the an ocean. Thus the whole process repeats itself.

It's cycle, so it keeps going round and round, so there isn't any "start".

But it's easiest to describe when you start with the Sun, which does provide the energy to begin with.

The Sun evaporates water in the oceans. The water vapor forms clouds. The clouds blow ashore. Eventually, the clouds form rain. Rain falls on the ground. Plants grow, and the remaining water flows into creeks, then streams, then rivers. Some of the rivers flow into dams, and the water flows through hydroelectric turbines to generate electricity. After that, the rivers flow to the oceans, and then...

It can start from any source of water such as a lake or an ocean... but if you think about it the lakes are all formed from an ocean.

I think that it start sometime when it is precipitation, evaporation, and condensation.

Since it is a cycle, it would be correct to say it starts with evaporation or precipitation.

The water cycle is a never ending process. Like a circle it has no end, and no begining.

How old is the water cycle?

Water cycle is a natural process. It started from the beginning.

What is the beginning of the water cycle?

No, because it is a never-ending process.

How does the hydrologic cycle moves water through the environment?

The hydrologic cycle is essentially a water continuum, representing the different paths through which water circulates and is transformed in the natural environment. Being a cycle, it has no specific beginning or ending.

Is there a specific beginning or end in the water cycle Why or why not?

The water cycle has no starting point. That is because the cycle repeats. For example, first, the sun heats the water on Earth's surface. Then the water evaporates. Next the clouds form. Then there is condensation. Next, there is precipitation which is rain, sleet, snow, and hail. Finally, the precipitation flows into rivers, streams, and oceans. That is when the water cycle repeats all over again. It repeats over and over again. The water cycle is unstoppable.

What is beginning of the rock cycle?

there is no beginning or end of the rock cycle

What is a process with no beginning or end and ivolves steps that move in a predictable pattern?

A cycle is a process with no beginning or end. Cycles involve steps that move in a predictable pattern. At the end of the cycle, you find that you are back at the beginning. The water cycle is one example of a cycle in nature.

What stage in the water cycle does clouds form?

It is a water cycle. A cycle, circle, never-ending thing. You cannot say that something that has no end and no beginning has "stages"

How is the sun involved in the water cycle?

The Sun provide energy on evaporation of water and restore the water to the beginning of the water cycle from the rain.

The carbon and hydrologic cycles?

have no beginning and no end ; they just go on and on

Do you bleed at the end or the beginning of your cycle?

You bleed at the beginning, not the end of your cycle. Day one of the menstrual cycle is the first day of your period.

Is the water you drink maybe from dinosaurs time?

The Water Cycle is the cycle at which water precipitates, evaporates, and condenses. This cycle has been going on since the beginning of time. As a result, there is no such thing as 'new' water. The water you are drinking could be from the dinosaurs time, from a glacier or lake that was present at that time period. Of course, the water is cleaned, purified, bottled and sold.
