it was derived from a term used in the deep south during reconstruction . Bull- dose was a term used meaning to give newly freed blacks a " dose " of a bullwhip .. When the machine first appeared in 1925 it could change things by sheer force .. Which slave owners also thought they could change Africans by sheer cforce to work
