Slaves would go to the bathroom outside of the ship and into the water.
Europeans traded in slaves because this was a free source of labor. They did not need to do the strenuous work by making their slaves do it for them, so it was on a high demand. If you had to clear 100 acres of forest land, and one acre clearing would take 15 to 20 years, would you rather do it yourself or have someone else do it? I would go with the latter. Slaves were first indentured servants and then became slaves. I would tell you the whole story, but that would dwell on a different question.
only relatives or very close friends lived with other slaves in their homes
Who would ask that question???Anyway Iroquois built there own longhouses! What else would they do order slaves to do it? Oh wait THEY DIDN'T HAVE SLAVES!!!! Thank you for reading my answer!!!!!!

Slaves did not earn any sort of payment. In some very rare situations they would be given 'gifts' but slaves did not have an income. You maybe referring to something else where they are considered in service of someone, but technically slaves were not payed.

sharecropping
They sent ships, mainly to Africa. Once there, they would trade with the locals to bring them slaves. Sometimes, men from the ship would go hunting for slaves themselves, basically kidnapping anyone they came across to be sold as slaves.
they would go to Canada,
