The dual Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor is mounted to the front of the engine, attached to an aluminum bracket mounted to the left side of the engine at the timing chain cover. A 4-wire connector plugs into the sensor, connecting it to the ignition control module.
AnswerThe crankshaft senser is located under the dampener pulley. Remove the serpentine belt. Remove right front wheel. Remove plastic access cover that's behind that wheel. With an impact wrench remove dampener pulley bolt. With an Dampener pulley puller remove pulley. There is a plastic cover that snaps in place over the senser, remove it, and you will have access to the senser.EricWiki User
