It is located below the intake manifold on the back side of the engine. Hoses from the fuel filter lead down to it.
You can find the PCV valve for your 1987 Nissan on top of the engine. The PCV valve will be near the air filter housing.
the SI is not carborated it is fuel injected.
AnswerIn the fuel tank Actually the fuel pump is only in the tank on the tbi models, if it is carborated then it is on the front of the engine on the bottom right side(facing the block)

If this is a fuel-injected car, the pump is in the tank. I believe in 1987 they went from Carb to fuel-injected. If it is a carb, it is on the lower right side of the engine.
