Somebody pleaseee answer this ! i really need it for school . thanxxx <3
It's called a Goldilocks planet because it's not too hot or not too cold like the porridge in Goldilocks and the 3 bears. Earth is a Goldilocks planet.
The sun is not called the Goldilocks planet. The term "Goldilocks planet" refers to a planet that is neither too hot nor too cold, and is capable of supporting liquid water on its surface, like Earth. The sun is actually a star, not a planet, and it is too hot to support life on its own.
Finding Earth-sized Goldilocks planets is a key part of NASA's Kepler mission, which uses an orbital deep-space telescope launched on March 7, 2009.The mission will survey and compile the characteristics of habitable-zone planets to find those that might provide Earth-like atmospheres and climates.
There is no Planet Goldilocks. The term "Goldilocks planet" refers to any planet that orbits in the habitable zone of its star, which is the area where a planet might be the right temperature to support liquid water, which might be able to sustain life. While we have discovered several such planets orbiting stars other than the sun, we currently do not have the technology to determine if they support life. Earth, which is itself a Goldilocks planet, is still the only planet known to support life.
well Gleise 158 g is a "super earth" its roughly 5 times bigger than earth. supposedly it has water on it and it is in the "green zone" (the zone in which a planet can support life) and the "g" at the end on Gleise 158 G stands for Goldilocks which mean its a goldilocks planet ( a planet with life on it)

Earth is sometimes referred to as Goldilocks because it is considered to be in the "Goldilocks zone," a region around a star where conditions are just right to support liquid water on the planet's surface. Like the porridge in the Goldilocks fairy tale, Earth's distance from the sun gives it temperatures that are neither too hot nor too cold for life to thrive.
Goldilocks is a fictional character from the fairy tale "Goldilocks and the Three Bears," so she doesn't have a specific age. In the story, she is typically portrayed as a young girl, likely in her childhood or early teens.
Earth has liquid water and suitable temperature range and atmosphere for living things to survive. Your Welcome People!
The Three Goldilocks conditions are that the temperature is not too hot and not too cold. It is Just Right. If the earth were much hotter, water would be gas-water Vapor. If Earth were much colder, water would be solid Ice.
It's called a Goldilocks planet because it's not too hot or not too cold like the porridge in Goldilocks and the 3 bears. Earth is a Goldilocks planet.
Goldilocks's porridge was not too hot, not too cold but just right. The Earth is not too hot (like Venus) and not too cold (like Mars), but just right. It isn't surprising because life developed on Earth so it got used to the conditions at an early stage.
Earth
There is no such thing as the planet goldilocks. There is however a Goldilocks zone. This is a zone around a sun where the temperature is not to hot and not to cold. Also, rocky planets like Earth are more likely to form here. Because of the earth like environment astrobiologists think that this area is the best place (but not the only place) to look for life.
so far no life has been found other than on our planet. However, on Titan, the largest moon of saturn, they have found Amino Acids, the most basic form of DNA, which suggests a form of life may begin there, if not already. a probe sent to the moon was recovered after being subjected to -272 degrees celsius and almost 300 celsius and a little spot of bacteria from where someone in the assembly process sneezed was taken back to earth and is currently alive.
