If there is a picture of the smooth and rough E.R., you can tell the difference because the rough E.R. has something that looks like little round bumps on the surface. The smooth E.R. is smooth like silk. :)

What types of cells contain the organelles smooth ER and Rough ER in?

what cells have Rough ER and smooth ER

Does a plant cell have a rough and smooth ER?

No, they do not. Prokaryotic cells have no membrane-bound organelles such as rough endoplasmic reticulum. The 70s ribosomes found in prokaryotic cells are therefore free in the cytoplasm as opposed to attached to the rough endoplasmic reticulum.

In what kind of cell is a smooth ER found in?

Both smooth ER and rough ER are found in both cells.

Do all cells have a smooth ER?

Yes, both animal and plant cells have both types of endoplasmic reticulum (ER.) The only difference between rough ER and smooth ER is that rough ER is covered in ribosomes, smooth ER isn't. Hth

What cells have Smooth endoplasmic reticulum?

Both animal and plant cells have rough and smooth ER.

What Does smooth ER and rough ER do?

The ER is involved with the production, processing, transport, and storage of materials inside a cell. The difference between the Smooth and Rough one is that the rough one is associated with ribosomes whereas the smooth one lacks ribosomes. Hope this was helpfull :)

What Name two types or ER inside cells?

Smooth and rough

How can you tell rough ER from the smooth ER?

Rough ER has numerous ribosomes on its surface. These are absent on smooth ER. Smooth ER studded with ribosomes. Rough ER transport of materials.

What does endplasmic reticium do?

There are two kinds of ER. Rough, and smooth. Rough ER's ribosomes create all of the proteins secreted from cells and integral proteins and phospholipids are made there. Smooth ER catalyzes reactions involved with roles in the liver cells, testosterone-synthesizing cells, intestinal cells, and kidneys.

How does smooth ER differ from rough ER?

Rough ER is studded with ribosomes and are involved in modifying proteins. Smooth ER has no ribosomes and is involved with making and modifying fats. Smooth ER lacks the ribosomes that cover the rough ER.

How can you rough ER from smooth ER?

Rough ER looks like a maze and smooth ER looks like a sculpture. Another thing is that the Rough ER has ribosomes on it while the Smooth ER doesnt.
