2 John 10, 11 - If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds.[NKJV]
That is a quote from The Gettysburg Address, not from the Bible.
People pray to churches because they believe that churches is a house of God and as Jesus has mention that " My house shall be called the house of prayer of all nation".
What quote? You make the quote, and we shall tell you where it is in the Bible,
One place in the Bible that speaks on coveting is Exodus 20:17, the last of the ten commandments. The tenth commandment is "You shall covet your neighbor's house. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor."
"This too shall pass" doesn't come from a Bible verse... it comes from Persian Sufi poets.
The relevant quotation is Exodus 20-17, "You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his male servant, or his female servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor's."
The word goodness is in the NKJ Bible 45 times for example: Psa 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.
me a house ...
In the King James versionMat 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
This means that the meek [considerate people] shall rule the world. This is one of the eight Beatitudes.
Yes. No where in the bible it says: thou shall not kiss. DO remember though your body is the temple of God, so don't be giving yourself away to anyone ;)
There is no Bible verse that I know of that says this. Although, if you believe, there is great rejoicing in waiting for the coming kingdom of Christ on earth which will indeed be greater, as the Bible says: The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts (Haggai 2.9)
