A Pan Flute is normally made out of wood.
The Wheelharp.
Hermes stole Apollo's cattle when he was five minutes old, and when Apollo found out, he was upset. Hermes had made the first lyre (stringed instrument similar to a harp) and Apollo wanted it. Some versions say Apollo traded the cattle for the lyre, so Hermes made a flute, a panflute. Apollo also liked the panflute and traded this staff, The Herald's staff of Caduceus, and in return Hermes gave him the panflute.
To make a panflute at home, you can use straws or bamboo sticks of varying lengths. Cut the straws or bamboo to different sizes and arrange them in a row from longest to shortest. Secure them together with tape or glue. Experiment with blowing across the tops of the straws to produce different notes.
A "pan flute" is several circular reeds strung together in a row, each of a different length to produce a different tone. One blows across the holes to make the whistling sound. Peter Pan plays a Pan flute (ironically). You can see an example in the traditional Disney version.
Perhaps you either did a flaw (you need 100%) or your mic is failing very badly.
