2 Samuel 18:9. David's son Absalom had been leading a conspiracy against him. He was riding to meet David's men and his mule went under a thick of branches of a large oak, and his head got caught in the tree. He was left hanging in midair while the mule kept going. Then David's men saw this happening and Absalom was killed. Read all of Chapter 18 for the full story.
his long hair got caught in a tree and he died
Absalom. He had long hair and he got caught in the bough of a tree while fleeing from David's army.
Absolam, rebel son of king David
No. Saul's son Jonathon was killed along with Saul on Mount Gilboa when the army of Israel was defeated by the Philistines.Probably you are thinking of King David's son, Absalom, who had long hair which was caught in an oak tree as he was fleeing the army of David's general Joab. Joab then caught and killed him. Thus Joab was the one who killed him, although the tree played a part, as did his hair.
Absalom (2 Samuel 18:9+10)
A horse right before his famous hair got caught in a tree branch!
Absalom was King David's son and he had a lot of hair. he died because of his hair. it got caught in a tree while he was riding his horse and he was just hanging there. Then someone came and killed him
Absalom. His story can be read in the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament) in 2 Samuel 13 thru 18. Some have suggested that his death was a symbol of Jesus Christ's death. While riding a horse, Absalom's long hair was caught in low branches of a tree, and he hung, suspended from the tree. David's general, Joab, came along, and pierced him with three spears, killing him.
