There are those who say suicide is an unpardonable sin but what we don't know is whether God has intervened in that situation without our knowing it.

Only God knows in these types of situations but I would not want to take that chance by committing suicide. You are playing spiritual roulette by doing so.

You are telling God that it is impossible for Him to help you when you commit suicide, when we know that nothing is impossible for God. For instance, we were in debt about 15000 dollars and thought we would be paying on it for a long, long time. Suddenly, God intervened and everything was paid off and we have kept it that way.

Think about it, if your dead, can you be pardoned. If yes then according to The Bible god will forgive all sin, if not then your screwed, don't kill yourself.

Answer:

Nowhere. It is self murder and while a sin, it is not unforgivable. Our lives belong to God and He alone has the prerogative to bring them to an end.

Suicide is considered the unforgivable sin because, the person who commits it has the power to prevent it, but still commits it.

ANOTHER ANSWER:

Suicide may be unforgivable to men... but God doesn't regard it as such:

" 'Every sin or blasphemy can be forgiven - except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, which can never be forgiven. Anyone who blasphemes against Me, the Son of Man, can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, either in this world or in the world to come...'" (Matt.12:31-32 NLT New Living Translation)

Notice: There is only ONE UNFORGIVABLE SIN... and "suicide" is not it. So, it falls into God's "vast forgivable category" of "every other sin or blasphemy."

It's unenlightened, carnal minded men who are merciless, compassion-less and unforgiving of most everything.

Only a converted Child of God who knows the Truth of God can "sin unforgivably" against Him. Because God has given this servant a "part of Himself," the Holy Spirit, to dwell within him... to feed and nourish his mind and heart as he grows and develops into a Loving, Caring, Compassionate, Merciful Child of his Father in heaven.

But if that servant who has God's Holy Spirit within him "gives up" on God and that "token" of His Spirit within him... then THAT is unforgivable with God.

"And now you also have heard the Truth, the Good News that God saves you. And when you believed in Christ, He identified you as His own by giving you the Holy Spirit, that He promises long ago. The Spirit is GOD'S GUARANTEE that He will give us anything He promised and that He has purchased us to be His own people..." (Eph.1:13-14 NLT)

"...He has identified us as His own by placing the Holy Spirit in our hearts as the FIRST INSTALLMENT of everything He will give us." (II Cor.1:22 NLT)

And God cannot forgive anyone who willingly regards God's Spirit within them so lightly as to give up on their Creator and the "Holy Spirit-powered struggle" to be re-born; to endure the life-long struggle of God's Knowledge and Truth within them pitted against the sinful pulls of the flesh and the world.

"...You are [led] by the Spirit IF YOU HAVE THE SPIRIT OF GOD LIVING IN YOU. (And remember that those who do not have the Spirit of Christ living in them are not [His].) Since Christ Lives within you, even though your body will die because of sin, your spirit is alive because you have been made Right with God. The Spirit of God, that raised Jesus from the dead, Lives in you... So, dear brothers and sisters, you have no obligation whatsoever to do what your sinful nature [the flesh; the five physical senses] urges you to do.

"For if you keep on following it, you will perish. But if through the Power of the Holy Spirit YOU TURN FROM IT and its evil deeds, you will Live. For all who are LED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD are CHILDREN OF GOD." (Rom.8:9-14 NLT)

If a person has God's Holy Spirit Living within them... and then returns to the ways of the flesh and the world... and gives up and abandons God's Precious Gift of HIMSELF LIVING WITHIN THEM -- then that is "unforgivable" to God.

"...For you are a slave to whatever controls you. And when people escape from the wicked ways of the world by learning about our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ and then get tangled up with sin and become its slave again, they are worse off than before. It would be better if they had never known the Right Way to Live than TO KNOW IT AND THEN REJECTthe Holy Commandments that were given to them..." (II Peter 2:19-21 NLT).

Suicide is "considered" the unforgivable sin only by those who don't know the Truth of God's Word. Suicide is a tool of demons and the spirit realm, that destroys the hope of a man from within. God's Truth is Hope... not "hopelessness." Suicide is committed by those who "have no Hope"... who are deceived by the god of this world... and who don't have God's Truth within them.

A suicide's tragic end is forgivable [not that it WILL be; but it CAN be. That's what Judgment Day will determine]. It's not blasphemy against God's Holy Spirit, which they don't have Living within them.

Blasphemy against God's Holy Spirit is having been given it... and then a wholesale giving up on it, rejecting it, to return to the world and the temporary pleasures of the flesh. Truth be told... comparatively speaking... there aren't that many folks in this world to whom God has truly given His Holy Spirit during this time dispensation of His plan of Salvation.

God doesn't bestow His Spirit lightly to anyone... and most of those to whom He gives a part of Himself, He provides the spiritual tools [and His Son's example] they need to see to it that they succeed in their struggles.

According to the biblical evidence... it will be a rare few in the Judgment who will not be forgiven their sins. Jesus gives us a glimpse into what Judgment Day will be like:

"On the Last Day, the climax of the Festival [of Tabernacles], Jesus stood and shouted to the crowds, 'If you are thirsty, COME TO ME! If you believe in Me, COME AND DRINK! For the Scriptures declare that Rivers of Living Water will flow out from within.' (When He said 'Living Water,' He was speaking of the Spirit, that would be given to everyone believing in Him. But the Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus had not yet entered into His Glory.) When the crowds heard Him say this, some of them declared, 'This man surely is the Prophet.'" (John 7:37-40 NLT)

Our Creator is Merciful... not condemning; and He will forgive mankind of all of his sins but ONE. And suicide is not that ONE.
