It can be found in the gospels.
We do not know the names of the two men, only that they were thieves. This is because what is important is not who they were, but how they acted when presented with the Son of God. One begged for forgiveness (and was granted it) and the other mocked Him.
The other two men who were also crucified on each side were robbers.
Do you mean who were the men beside Jesus on the cross, or the men to put Jesus on the cross
The bible says that the two men hung on the cross on each side of Jesus were robbers, they might have done this repeatedly so they were crucified.
Because the Cross (and resurrection of Jesus) is central to the Christian faith, it is described in detail in all fourgospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) and also in passing references in many of the other books of the New Testament. In addition the crucifixion is mentioned in other 'non-canonical' (ie, not included in the Bible) books as well as some historical secular sources such as Josephus.
