David had two children by his wife, Bathsheba. One died at 7days old, (2Sam.12.18), because of David's sin; and the second, Solomon, wrote 3 books of The Bible, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Solomon. His life and his glorious kingdom is written down in 1 Kings.1 to 11.
The Bible records Shimea, and Shobab, and Nathan, and Solomon, four, of Bathshua the daughter of Ammiel in 1 Chronicles 3:5. They had another son conceived in adultery that died in early childhood or infancy (2 Samuel 12:15-25). We do not know if they had any daughters. It is interesting one of these four sons was named Nathan, after the prophet who confronted David with his sin.
