It's not written in The Bible. However, according to St. Bridget of Sweden visions it was 5480 wounds.
Jesus said to her:
"I received 5480 blows upon My Body. If you wish to honor them in some way, recite fifteen Our Fathers and fifteen Hail Marys with the following Prayers, which I Myself shall teach you, for an entire year. When the year is finished, you will have honored each of My Wounds."
This prayer is very popular. It's called "The fifteen prayers of St. Bridget of Sweden."
The main scripture is Isaiah 52:13-15 (NLT)
The Lord's Suffering Servant
"13 See, my servant will prosper; he will be highly exalted.
14 But many were amazed when they saw him.
His face was so disfigured he seemed hardly human,
and from his appearance, one would scarcely know he was a man.
15 And he will startle many nations.
Kings will stand speechless in his presence.
For they will see what they had not been told;
they will understand what they had not heard about."
Here is another scripture which speaks to this question, to a lesser extent:
Psalm 22:6 NLT
"6But I am a worm and not a man.I am scorned and despised by all!"
The idea here is that he doesn't look like a man any longer.
And finally, we see Jesus' willingness to be scourged, spat upon, ridiculed and killed for the redemption of humanity.
Isa 50:6 NAS
" 6 I gave My back to those who strike Me, and My cheeks to those who pluck out the beard; I did not cover My face from humiliation and spitting."
(Luke 22:63-65) 63 Now the men that had him in custody began to make fun of him, hitting him; 64 and after covering him over they would ask and say: "Prophesy. Who is it that struck you?" 65 And they went on saying many other things in blasphemy against him.
(John 18:39-19:5) 39 Moreover, YOU have a custom that I should release a man to YOU at the passover. Do YOU, therefore, wish me to release to YOU the king of the Jews?" 40 Then they shouted again, saying: "Not this man, but Bar·ab′bas!" Now Bar·ab′bas was a robber. 19 At that time, therefore, Pilate took Jesus and scourged him. 2 And the soldiers braided a crown of thorns and put it on his head and arrayed him with a purple outer garment; 3 and they began coming up to him and saying: "Good day, you King of the Jews!" Also, they would give him slaps in the face. 4 And Pilate went outside again and said to them: "See! I bring him outside to YOU in order for YOU to know I find no fault in him." 5 Accordingly Jesus came outside, wearing the thorny crown and the purple outer garment. And he said to them: "Look! The man!"
(Matthew 26:67) 67 Then they spit into his face and hit him with their fists. Others slapped him in the face,
(Matthew 27:27-30) 27 Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the governor's palace and gathered the whole body of troops together to him. 28 And disrobing him, they draped him with a scarlet cloak, 29 and they braided a crown out of thorns and put it on his head and a reed in his right hand. And, kneeling before him, they made fun of him, saying: "Good day, you King of the Jews!" 30 And they spit upon him and took the reed and began hitting him upon his head.
(Mark 14:64, 65) . . .. 65 And some started to spit on him and to cover his whole face and hit him with their fists and say to him: "Prophesy!" And, slapping him in the face, the court attendants took him.
