If you travel all the way south to the panama canall there is a wooden boarder line stating where the pacific starts and where the Atlantic starts. So I suppose if you stood percislly at that borderand looked directlly ahead you would could see the pacific and the Atlantic ocean at the same time through your periferal veiw. Or a more simple answer become an astronot and if you are abored the space station and the ship was directlly above North America, you would be seeing th Atlantic and pacific ocean at the same time. P.S Great question to who ever first ask that question im happy to answer it for you.
The pattern is caused by the magnetic alignment of certain iron minerals in solidifying magma with Earth's magnetic field at the time of the magma's solidification. Earth's magnetic field has not been static over geologic time, and its shifts are recorded in the igneous rock produced at the Mid-Atlantic ridge.
The region includes northern Canada, Greenland some parts of Russia and Alaska. This pattern is seen here generally because the temperatures are the same.
