To replace the electric seat motor in a Peugeot 406, first disconnect the car battery to ensure safety. If you mean the evaporator canister it is under the car on the left side just about under the driver seat.
The first thing you should do is loosen the four nuts bolting the seat to the car. Then you can tilt the seat back and disconnect the wire harness from the motor, and finally manuever the seat out of the car. Installation is the reverse.
It is on the base of the seat. On the driver side it is on the right side, reach your hand down by your right knee. On the passenger side it is on the left side of the seat base.
