Two wire sensor very near upper rad hose and thermostat housing.
on the 90 Lebaron,3.0 the coolant temp sensor is on the left near the distributor cap. Supposed to be two, but so far I have found only one, unless it turns out there is one underneath near the Bosch starter. I can identify most of the sensors but this is one I hadn't seen until I started looking at the battery cable connections . Mary
A 1985 Chrysler Le Baron 2.2L may stop running when hot due to several potential issues, such as a failing fuel pump that can't maintain pressure at higher temperatures, a malfunctioning ignition module that overheats, or a clogged fuel filter restricting fuel flow. Additionally, failing engine sensors, like the coolant temperature sensor, could provide incorrect readings, disrupting the engine's air-fuel mixture. Lastly, vapor lock in the fuel system can occur when the fuel vaporizes due to heat, preventing proper fuel delivery.
