Israel is located in the Middle East, bordered by Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, the Gulf of Eliat, and the Red Sea.
It doesn't really matter. they should be high leveled though. Oh, and don't use a Jumpluff (I used one once and it was god awful). I would suggest Typhlosion, pidgeot, and four other strong ones.
There are three major must see destinations in the country of Israel. First and foremost is the Dead Sea. Additionally, there is ancient city of Akko (known in the U.S. as Acre) which was a huge port city in Biblical times. Last but not least, the city of Eliat is a resort town that combines nice weather and the water.
It really depends where you go... the north is a bit more rural and secluded. Tel Aviv is pretty upbeat and there is a massive amount of night life there as well as really nice beaches. Eliat is also kind of like that...with more resorts and beaches. Jeruselem is obviously the ancient/holy city of Israel and everything is built in this old stone which gives it a different feel. That city is quite religious and there are rarely cars out on shabbat in the Jewish section and there is the kotel or dome of the rock. Then again, in other places like rochovot, it has the feel of more of a residential area. All in all apartments everywhere, disco techs, outdoor venders, and again, lots of night life. These are only a few cities.
